We're in the year 146 BC, and Carthage has just been sacked, looted and destroyed by the Roman Republic. 50,000 Carthaginians were sold into slavery. The Romans were determined that Carthage would remain in ruins.

The Third Punic War was fought between the years 149 and 146 BC. the last of a series of three wars between Carthage and the Roman Republic. The war was fought entirely in Carthaginian territory in what is now called northern Tunisia.

The Sicilian Wars, or Greco-Punic Wars, were a series of wars fought between ancient Carthage and Greek city states, led by Syracuse, over control of Sicily and the central Mediterranean between 580 and 265 BC. In this blog, we will talk about the seventh war of the series, starting in 311 BC and ending in 306 BC with a peace treaty between the Greeks and Carthage.
